MINISTER MARION HALL FORMERLY KNOWN AS LADY SAW TELLS HER STORY IN "I HAD JESUS"
"If you haven't been through some things, then you can't have a testimony", explains Minister Marion Hall, formerly known as Lady Saw. "I HAD JESUS" is dedicated to women that have been beaten, raped, forced into prostitutition, addicted to drugs and broken; women that should have been dead, but are alive today because of a man name Jesus.
Ariff & Davine Butler of Bloozick Filmworks excellently Directed and Produced this tear-jerking video which depicts real life experiences of two women.
Minister Marion Hall gives the world a glimpse into her heartrending life story. From being gang raped as a young girl, to being physically abused by the man who was supposed to love her and many other adverse situations forced her life into a direction that she never imagined it would go. The raunchy music, the fame and the fast money were just a way of escape for her and her family to get out of their struggles. She wasn't aware of all the heartbreak and pain that the life of glimmer would eventually bring.
Marion Hall painfully said, "I never really wanted to do what I was doing. I only wanted to make money to help my family. I use to go home nights after shows in tears and cry out to God, whom I always loved, because I felt so dirty after being up on that stage behaving like I use too." Through it all Marion proclaims, "I HAD JESUS, he never let go of my hand, He pulled me through my storms, because my Jesus had a plan."
The plan for Minister Marion Hall's life is truly divine. Even before her Baptism and conversion to Christianity early in 2016, her heart was given to helping young women and children. It broke her heart to see them going through the hurts she's been through. She's a modern day "Good Samaritan" or "Mother Theresa". Marion has a home where she takes these broken women and children and gives them shelter, food and counsels them whole with love.
After Marion Hall became a Christian, she had a dream of God telling her to go to an exotic night club and witness to a female who was dancing and prostituting there. This is the story of Princess, the second women depicted in the video who was reenacted by me (Melisa "Mel Melody" Dyce) and my oldest daughter (Moriyah) who plays the young Princess. Princess grew up watching her dad beat her mom which destroyed her psychologically and forced her into drug addiction and prostitution. Marion obeyed God and went in haste in the middle of the night to rescue this hurt and broken young lady from a life she was tired of living.
Experience is a teacher and a healer. It's indeed painful while going through our own storms, but when Jesus pulls us through, the level of compassion we have for others going through is maximized. Minister Marion Hall is a living testimony of this. God's plan for her life and her desire is to help bring souls of the broken to Jesus through her outreach ministry, her testimony and her music, so He can make them whole.
